Does it work?
According to The Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology
How does it work?
Fibroblast Plasma is a FDA approved innovative technology device that promotes a sublimation process in the 4th state of matter by utilizing plasma to create a tiny plasma flash static arc between the device and the surface of the skin. The tool itself doesn't touch the skin, however, the plasma flash creates a tiny dot on the outer epidermal surface of the skin and leaves a dot known as "carbon crusts". The technique for this procedure requires training to understand the strategic placement of carbon crust dots in order to achieve optimal results. As a result of the plasma effect, the skin naturally rejuvenates (fibroblast cells are known to trigger production of collagen).

Pros:
Low risk, minimal downtime and much more affordable than surgery.
Effects may be noticeable immediately, but results typically become more visible after 2-4 weeks.
Is it painful?
A topical numbing cream is applied in order to minimize discomfort during procedure. Most Clients report that it is a tolerable experience.
How long is the downtime?
This is a noninvasive procedure. Therefore, there is little to no downtime and most Clients can resume work in the same day or the next day. Carbon crusts are the tiny superficial dots which form directly on the skin are part of normal healing process. Correctly taken care of, they will fall off naturally in up to 5-7 days after treatment. However, aftercare is extremely important so we recommend that you take the day off to relax and avoid touching the area for the best results.
How long does it take?
On average, a session is 1.5-2 hours. Please schedule your consultation to determine if you're a candidate and to obtain a quote. All procedures require a touch up and possibly additional sessions as the results are based on healing outcomes.
What to expect before and after treatment
Consultation and consent forms will be reviewed and established during your consultation. The area will be evaluated to determine if you're a candidate. The area treated will be red, raised, and inflamed immediately after the procedure and may take a few days to reduce but this is to be expected.
Aftercare
Clean the area with a natural cleanser such as Dr. Bronner's and keep it protected with Aquaphor spray. We will wrap the area after the procedure, it is important to remove the wrap and keep the area open to air after 2 hours. Keep your hands clean and avoid touching the area. Avoid using harsh soaps, creams, and lotions. Avoid active sun exposure, excessive sweating, swimming, massage for the best outcome. Complete aftercare instructions will be explained at your visit.
Overall expectations
Although the appearance may improve after the first session, final results don't happen overnight! Each Client heals differently, it is important to understand that this is a voluntary cosmetic procedure and we cannot predict how your skin heal. Deep wrinkles may require more than one session.
Paramedical Aesthetic procedures are performed with adherence to strict safety and infection control practices. However, in general, these procedures may have unanticipated risks including infection, allergic reaction, granulomas and keloid formations during the healing process. *Please note....This is a cosmetic elective procedure, the skin's healing process is unpredictable and therefore, results may vary and are not guaranteed. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This treatment is considered beauty in nature and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
